10. Jet truck ShockWave – it’s a typical American truck brand Peterbuilt of 1985, fundamentally altered by a team of enthusiasts. Three turbojet engines Pratt & Whitney J34-48, whose total capacity of 36 thousand (!) horsepower, need just 11 seconds to disperse this miracle of technology to almost 500 km / h.
9. Flying supercar AeroMobil 3.0 – Project of Slovak Stefan Klein. The vehicle is designed for two people – a pilot and a passenger. Due to folding wings with a variable angle AeroMobil can move both on ordinary roads, and in the air. The four-cylinder internal combustion engine Rotax 912 allows the aircar to move around land at speeds of over 160 km / h, and in the air – 200 km / h.
8. Supersonic Car Bloodhound SSC. This vehicle was presented in London in the autumn of 2015. Bloodhound project team in October 2012 plans to create a supersonic car that will be able to accelerate to 1287 km / h, and beat the previous record of speed 1228 km / h.
7. 4D Free Spin Coaster – is a mega extreme roller coaster. Until recently, we have seen a roller coaster wagons which can only move forward and backward, and the passenger is sitting in a stationary position. But that all changed with 4D Free Spin Coaster with seats that can freely rotate down by as much as 360 degrees. In this case the direction of rotation depends on the weight of the passenger.
6. AN-225 “Mriya” (NATO codename – «Cossack») – is the largest and most powerful in the world of transport aircraft, designed by the Kiev Bureau of Antonov. Six-engine turbojet aircraft is also the heaviest cargo aircraft. “Mriya” is also an absolute capacity record – 253.8 tons.
5. Komatsu D575A-3SD – is the largest bulldozer in the world. Its mass is about 153 m, and length – 11.72 m. The car is equipped with a powerful engine of 1150 hp. The fuel tank of the largest bulldozer can hold 2100 liters of fuel.
4. Liebherr T 282B – is the largest dump truck in the world. It is able to withstand the weight of more than four tons of rock and thus speeds up to 65 km / h. The height the machine is 7 meters, and its length is 14.5 meters. Externally it dumps more like a huge electric train than a truck.
3. Rotary excavator Bagger 293 – is the biggest self-propelled land vehicle in the world, built in 1995 by the German company TAKRAF. 14200-ton giant whose height is 96 meters and length is 225 m, is run at the same time by five operators.
2. Overburden Conveyor Bridge F60 – is a real monster. Its dimensions are shocking, and the power delights. Just imagine this giant has the length of 502 meters, and weight of 365 tons! The company VEB TAKRAF Lauchhammer built it in 1991 in East Germany. It worked for only 13 months; afterwards it was taken out of service for economic and political reasons.
1. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) – is the world’s largest particle accelerator created the European Centre for Nuclear Research (CERN). Accelerator runs in a tunnel at a depth of 175 meters below ground at the border of France and Switzerland near Geneva. With the LHC physicists are trying to test different theories of physics of elementary particles.
