The Taliban is a terrorist organization that has been operating in Afghanistan since 1994. This is one of the most dangerous terrorist groups in the world, which seized power in 1995. In 1996, the Taliban established the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the city of Kabul. The Taliban made one mistake – they sheltered Osama bin Laden, because of what they have become notorious throughout the world. Most of the members of the organization were liquidated after the attacks of September 11, 2001, and since that time they have diminished their speed, although they still control most of Afghanistan.
