The Taliban is a terrorist organization that has been operating in Afghanistan since 1994. This is one of the most dangerous terrorist groups in the world, which seized power in 1995. The Taliban made one mistake – they sheltered Osama bin Laden, because of what they have become notorious throughout the world. Most of the members of the organization were liquidated after the attacks of September 11, 2001, and since that time they have diminished their speed, although they still control most of Afghanistan.
Boko Haram is an extremely violent Islamist terrorist organization that operates in Nigeria. Islamist terrorists want to eradicate all the West in their country, as well as establish Sharia law. All the values of the old world are considered by the representatives of Boko Haram to be illegal. By the way, in 2015 the group became part of the Islamic State and became its western province.
Hezbollah is an Islamist grouping based in Lebanon that consists mainly of Shiites. Hezbollah is considered a hotbed of terrorist acts in Lebanon since 1982. The organization’s goal is to confront the Israeli army in southern Lebanon. Today, Hezbollah representatives consider Ruholl Khomeini, the leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, to be an ideal, and they are trying to create in Lebanon exactly the same Islamic state as Iran. Since 2011, this group is fighting in Syria on the side of the troops of Bashar Assad.
Al-Qaida. Al-Qaeda terrorists probably are heard about by everything. This organization was founded in 1988 to create the “Great Islamic Caliphate”, as well as to overthrow the Soviet regime in countries that profess Islam. For example, Al Qaeda actively fought for power in Afghanistan, and after the Soviet authorities left there, the terrorists directed their power against Europeans and Americans. The founder of Al-Qaeda was Osama bin Laden. Under his leadership, the organization has taken its roots around the world, and still terrifies half the world’s population.
ISIS is the largest terrorist organization in the world today, which operates in practically all these countries. In Syria and Iraq, representatives of this group have subordinated themselves to huge territories and smaller terrorist organizations. ISIS was established with the participation of Al Qaeda, and in 2014 it was separated. Today, the “Islamic state”, in fact, is a quasi-state that has its own economy, medicine, a powerful propaganda system and an army.
