The face of the “Danae” of Rembrandt. It is known that the painting “Danae” Rembrandt began to make 2 years after his marriage to Saskia van Eilenburyh. The artist portrayed his wife in many of his paintings, and for a long time remained a mystery why the resemblance to Saskia is not so obvious as in his other paintings of the 1630s, and the style he uses is more like the creations of a later period of his work.
