Wat Phra Kaew, Bangkok. Wat Phra Keo or the Temple of the Emerald is one of the most important Buddhist temples in Thailand. It is located in the historic center of Bangkok in the Grand Palace. On the territory of the temple there is a statue of the Emerald Buddha carved from a single piece of jade.
