Almonds are the seeds of the tree shown in the photo. This shrub endures heat, comparative drought and frost. Despite the established opinion, almonds are not an exotic plant. Often it can be found in the Crimea, in the southern territories of the former Soviet Union, Asia, the Caucasus, Tien Shan and the Himalayas, on the rocky mountainous slopes.
