Displaced discs that help calculate the runaway driver. In 1931, the journal Popular Mechanics presented an interesting idea how to find drivers who disappeared from the scene of an accident. It was suggested in the bumpers of cars to install special devices that would throw out discs with a unique number in the event of a collision. Unfortunately, the device remained just a project, although it would be very relevant in the modern world.
