Francisco Macías Nguema, the first president of Equatorial Guinea, who killed two-thirds of the country’s population, liked to drink tea of cannabis and with the root of special bush with hallucinogenic properties. It was rumored that Nguema was a cannibal, and kept skulls in the refrigerator.
