The oldest plants in the world

Patriarca da Floresta. It grows in Vassununga State Park in the State of São Paulo (Brazil). It is 3000 years old. This tree could be cut down with high probability, as it is growing on the land that was actively used for growing of sugar cane. Scientists believe that the tree had not been cut down by the colonialists because of absence of the the necessary tools.
