The Queen has no real power. Despite the fact that the history of the British royal family lasts for hundreds of years, the role of the monarch had lost its former importance and basically is aimed to accept the delegations. At present, the existing Queen Elizabeth II has the right to appoint and dismiss ministers, to issue passports and even to declare war, but the final decision on the issue of the war is on the current prime minister.
