Drinking of alcoholic beverages by juveniles is legal. The laws that govern the use of alcohol in the UK are quite vague and ambiguous: on the one hand, the law states that alcohol can’t be sold to persons under 18 years of age, and on the other – doesn’t prohibit children from 5 years of age or older to drink alcohol at home or at territory of any other private property.
